Chameg Cameroon is a community based, not for profit and nongovernmental organization initiated in 1994 by 10 women`s groups. Chameg`s main focus is to empower women and youths socio-economically, culturally and encourage them to participate in local governance. Chameg is dedicated to the idea and actual search for sustainable development initiatives designed and managed by its beneficiaries according to their collective spirit and culture, and directed towards a freely chosen future in partnership with other actors. Chameg is registered under the 1990 law of associations with registration number No.252/G.37/D14/1/Vol.XII/988/OAPP.
Chameg accepts and works with volunteers from within and out of Cameroon.
